DAMATE Group, Russian Agricultural Bank and Penza region signed an agreement on construction of new plant on deep processing of turkey

At the XXII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, a triangular agreement was signed between Rosselkhozbank JSC, the Government of Penza Region and DAMATE Group, on the implementation of an investment project to create a plant specializing in deep processing of turkey meat. The preliminary cost of the project is 5.7 billion rubles.

The launch of new production facilities will serve to solve the priority tasks of social and economic development of Penza region, will help to expand the export potential and ensure the country's food security.

"The implementation of such large-scale projects is possible only as a result of the joint efforts of all parties involved," said Chairman of the Board of Directors of DAMATE Group, Naum Babaev. "We already have many years of successful experience of cooperation, and we are confident that the emergence of a new plant for deep processing of turkey meat in Penza region will affect not only the development of the region, but also the industry as a whole."

Rosselkhozbank pays special attention to investment projects aimed at the production of competitive domestic products. DAMATE Group and the bank have been successfully cooperating for more than seven years, during this time we provided loans to DAMATE for current activities and implementation of investment projects amounting to 48 billion rubles. Joint implementation of large-scale projects serves the development of Russian agriculture, creates new standards and allows providing consumers with quality food products.

Over the past years Rosselkhozbank and DAMATE Group have been a good partners whose cooperation allows the economy of Penza region to develop through the implementation of the largest investment project in the history of the region, and this leads to expansion of production, creation of new jobs with decent wages, increase in the taxable base, development of  territories. The government of Penza region has been and remains an active participant in the triangular cooperation. We will support these ties in the future, since we are talking about the well-being of Penza region and its residents," explained after the ceremony the Governor of Penza region, Ivan Belozertsev.
