DAMATE started staff training courses for a new plant

DAMATE Group started a job-training program for employees of a new turkey slaughter and processing plant under the work of its own corporate university. The decision to train employees was made in connection with the forthcoming commissioning of one of the largest in Europe turkey slaughter and processing plants with the capacity of        155 000 tons per year. The opening of a new plant in the Penza region will create an additional 500 job places in the region.

The training program consists of several training courses aimed at building the employees' professional knowledge and skills that allow them to work at modern production sites. Upon completion of the training, the final testing is conducted, according to which an employee is admitted to work.

The training courses were developed in cooperation with production experts on the basis of their own experience and unique technologies of the plant DAMATE. The training of new employees has been started in December 2017 and will continue after putting the plant into operation. To date, more than 100 people have completed vocational training, 83 of which already work.

Continuous professional training of employees is the main aim of the HR policy of DAMATE. The HR department of DAMATE plans – automate and implement  integrated assessment and training of employees by 2018.
