The next batch of cattle arrived at DAMATE complex in Tyumen region

DAMATE Group carries on scheduled delivery of livestock to the dairy complex, that is under construction in Golyshmanovsky district of Tyumen region. Another batch of 380 heads of cattle was imported from Holland to the complex last week. There are heifers of Holstein-Friesen breed aging 8-12 months. The company's specialists were personally present at the selection of cattle. The batch was delivered to the complex by specialized vehicles.

The importation of the batch was carried out under the second stage of completing the new complex with livestock, providing for the supply of 1467 livestock units. The next batch will arrive in June; currently the specialists of DAMATE Group are on the selection of cattle in Holland.

The completion of the complex involving 4,600 heads was started at the end of 2016. In January, the first stage was completed; more than 3 thousand heads from the Netherlands and Germany were delivered to the farm. Currently, there is a calving period at the complex.

The construction of the dairy production complex project by 4,600 heads in Golyshmanovsky district of Tyumen region was started by DAMATE and Danone in March 2016 as part of a previously signed agreement. The project is designed to produce about 45 thousand tons of milk per year. The complex will be fully commissioned by the summer of 2017. Under the terms of the agreement, the milk produced at the complex will be sold to Danone enterprises. On 17 May, deliveries of raw milk to the plant of the partner company have been started.
