Damate sold the first batch of breeding heifers

The dairy complex Damate, located in Tyumen region, has started selling breeding heifers. The first batch of 106 heads of highly productive cattle was sent to the buyer in September. By the end of this year, the farm will sell 240 head of cattle.

Damate, which has the status of a pedigree reproducer for breeding large ruminants, raises for sale heifers of Holstein-Friesian breed, they are 3-6 months pregnant. The cattle are purebred and meet the requirements for breeding stock. The conditions for keeping and feeding cattle comply with zootechnic standards, the modern equipment is installed at complex, advanced technologies are introduced at all stages of the process and in accordance with the latest trends in animal husbandry. Zootechnic records are fully maintained using modern computer programs for herd management; the farm is safe for infectious diseases.

It should be reminded that the dairy complex Damate, designed for 6 thousand heads of dairy herd, received the status of a pedigree reproducer last summer. The procedure took several months, during which the company's specialists did some serious work. An expert commission under the Ministry of Agriculture conducted a survey of the enterprise and concluded that the farm meets all the requirements for breeding reproducers.
