“The formation of parent flock is an important step in duck production. Own production of hatching eggs allows to reduce the volume of poultry import supplies and reduce biological risks,” said Rashid Khairov, General Director of Damate.

3 days old Cherry Valley ducklings were imported from Germany. Delivery was carried out by specialized vehicles equipped with climatic systems and temperature sensors, which allow maintaining comfortable conditions for ducklings along the entire route.

The buildings of the enterprise, where the ducklings arrived at, are equipped with an automated supply and exhaust ventilation system as well as with heat generators. The joint work of ventilation and heating systems allows us to keep ducklings in optimal conditions. The poultry houses are equipped with automatic feeding lines. Also, the hulls have plastic grating with a rise, where the duck consumes water and cleans the plumage.

Cherry Valley cross was chosen for its attractive appearance and high performance. Duck meat products from this cross are of good quality and attractive taste. Due to its versatile properties, Cherry Valley duck cross quickly gained popularity and became in demand in the market.

“The restoration of the work of the enterprise for the production of duck meat in the Millerovsky district is of great importance not only in terms of achieving production indicators, but also in socio-economic terms,” stressed the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Rostov Region, Konstantin Ratchalovsky. - Damate plans to create new jobs. Until the end of 2021, the number of employees at New Duck Farms LLC will exceed 1,000, which is important for the development of rural areas. "

In May 2020, Damate Group and Rosselkhozbank JSC signed an agreement on a concession of the rights of requirements for obligations of Donstar LLC, which owns the largest complex in Russia for the industrial production of duck meat. New Duck Farms LLC (part of the Damate Group of Companies) became the new creditor. The company leased the Donstar property complex and began to restart production: in October 2020, deliveries of hatching duck eggs to the incubator were started, and in November 2020, Damate Group of Companies imported the first batch of day old ducklings to the rearing site.
