The poultry complex Damate in Rostov region has reached full self-sufficiency in hatching turkey egg. This made it possible to reduce import dependency, as well as significantly reduce biological risks.

Damate has started construction of a turkey pedigree breeding unit in Russia worth 5.2 billion rubles. The project is being implemented in Tyumen region and will reduce the dependence of the turkey breeding industry on imported eggs.

Damate has started cooperation with the leading food service operator in the Middle East, Kuwait Food Company (Americana). The first batch of turkey meat products in the amount of 27 tons has already arrived at the buyer's warehouse; the next deliveries are planned in accordance with the schedule.

The export volume of Damate has exceeded 1 billion rubles since the beginning of this year. The positive dynamics is due to the expansion of the supplies geography and the development of the range of supplied products.

Damate has begun exporting turkey meat to the Caribbean, the first containers have been shipped to Haiti this week. Exports to a region where the United States has traditionally been the main turkey supplier is made possible by a highly competitive price-performance ratio.

Damate has begun shipping turkey sausages to West Africa. The first shipments of more than 100 tons have been shipped to Benin, Liberia and Ghana.

Damate has begun work to expand its turkey meat production capacity up to 207 thousand tons per year. The company is rapidly building poultry sites in Penza region.

Damate has opened the largest turkey deep processing plant in Europe, located in Penza region. The amount of investments in the project amounted to 9 billion rubles.
