Damate created 500 new jobs in 2023
Damate Group created 500 more new jobs in 2023. Today, more than 10.5 thousand people are employed at the company's enterprises across the country, thanks to the systematic implementation of several livestock projects of the company in the regions where it operates: in Tyumen, Rostov regions and the Karachay-Cherkess Republic.
Last year Damate created the largest number of jobs at the lamb slaughtering and processing plant in Cherkessk, the Karachay-Cherkessia Republic. More than 300 people got jobs there. In 2023, the company created new jobs at the slaughtering, meat deboning, packaging and canned meat production sites.
In Rostov region, Damate has restored all stages of production at its turkey and duck complexes since 2020, which required one-time hiring and employment of a large number of specialists in various professions. Last year, hiring of employees continued and 150 more new jobs were created at the facilities.
At the company's turkey hatching egg production facility in Tyumen region in 2023, candidates were able to find employment for 111 new positions.
The following job openings were especially in demand in 2023 at turkey, duck and lamb production facilities: veterinarian and veterinary technician in poultry, livestock and meat processing, agriscientist, livestock expert, poultry farm operator, poultry carcass handler, meat deboner, stacker-packer, scaleman, handyman, washer-disinfector, quality controller, electrician, instrumentation and control technician, automated control system engineer, forklift driver, bus driver, forwarding driver, tractor driver, etc.
The company will continue to hire employees in 2024 as the livestock projects continue to reach their planned production capacity and additional positions are being created. In October 2023, Damate started construction of two new poultry production units in Penza region. The project will create 112 job openings in the region.
