Damate presented its products at Saudi Agriculture 2022
Damate Group is taking part in the 39th International Agro-Industrial Exhibition Saudi Agriculture 2022, which takes place from October 17 to 20 in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Damate stand is located in Pavilion No. 5 of the Riyadh International Convention&Exhibition Center, where a joint exposition of Russian companies is presented.
During the event, employees of the agricultural holding met with foreign partners and introduced visitors to the company's assortment. Damate, as a categorical expert of the Russian market and one of the largest producers of niche types of meat in the country, presented to the guests of the exhibition turkey, duck and lamb products, semi-finished products, sausage products and ready-to-eat meat delicacies. The company focused on the products of deep processing.
The items presented at the exhibition have a high export potential and are certified according to Halal standards. Damate supplies halal products abroad under the Salima brand, specially created for export purposes.
The exhibition was visited by a Russian delegation, which included representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, JSC "Russian Export Cente"r, ANO "Russian Quality System", as well as representatives of Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance , Russian Agricultural Bank, big business, industry unions and associations.
As part of the business program, a plenary session was held on the prospects for the development of mutual trade in agricultural products between the Russian Federation and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In addition, a series of round tables and b2b negotiations were held.
The Russian Federation and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have long historical relations, and agriculture is one of the important and priority areas of bilateral cooperation with huge potential for expansion and growth.
Saudi Agriculture is supported by the Ministry of Environment, Water Resources and Agriculture of Saudi Arabia and is an important event in the agro-industrial sector of all countries of the Middle East. In 2022, more than 400 exhibitors from 50 countries are participating in the event. The exhibition is visited annually by more than 17 thousand people
It should be recalled that Damate has started developing its export business in 2015. To date, the company has permits to supply products to the countries of the European Union and 49 other countries, including China, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, African and Asian countries. At the moment, the geography of supplies includes 30 countries. In 2021, the export turnover of Damate exceeded 2 billion rubles; the volume of supplies of turkey and duck products increased more than 10 times in two years and amounted to over 14 thousand tons.
