Damate presented Salima branded halal products from turkey at the Russia Halal Expo

Damate Group presented halal turkey products under Salima brand at Russia's largest halal industry exhibition the Russia Halal Expo 2022. The exhibition was held from May 19th to 21st as part of the XIII International Economic Summit "Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit 2022" .

Salima branded products were presented at the Damate stand, opened as part of the collective exposition of ICSC "Halal" partners. Damate presented to the Russian market a new brand, previously used for export purposes, due to high market demand for halal products and its further growth. Under the brand Salima, the company produces minced meat, breast fillet, “Eastern” gosht, bone-in thigh fillet, and shurpa portion. Salima products are already represented in the country's federal networks and online markets.

In addition, guests of Damate’s stand could get acquainted with a wide range of Indilight branded products, among which were natural and chopped semi-finished products, offal, as well as ham, bologna-type sausages, sausages and ready-to-eat semi-finished products: nuggets, cutlets.

To date, the entire range of products produced by Damate meets international quality and safety standards and is produced in accordance with Shariah norms. The products have three Halal certificates – from the International Center for Halal Standardization and Certification of the Russian Mufti Council, and the Halal Certification Center of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Gulftic-ICSC, which allows exporting products to the Persian Gulf countries.

An important part of the event was the session "Halal industry: yesterday, today, tomorrow through the prism of the development of the Halal export market ", which brought together the largest representatives of the country's halal industry. During the session, the representative of Damate told the audience about the development of exports of halal products of the agricultural holding, noting that supplies to Muslim countries have increased 4 times since 2020. In addition, in 2021, the company began exporting to the largest market in the Middle East - Saudi Arabia, becoming the only supplier of turkey products to this country.

The international exhibition the Russia Halal Expo is the country's largest exhibition of the Halal industry, which is held with the aim of developing trade, economic, socio–cultural ties between the regions of Russia and the states of the Islamic world, presenting the potential of the halal segment of the economy and evaluating the products and services of Russian and foreign halal suppliers. The organizers of the exhibition are the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Halal Standard Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.
