Damate received permission to export duck meat to Hong Kong
Damate Group was the first in Russia to receive the right to export duck meat products to Hong Kong. Now Damate is finalizing its product range and negotiating with Hong Kong companies. Damate's experience in supplying turkey meat to Hong Kong, as well as its well-deserved reputation as a producer of quality products and a reliable business partner, will allow it to start organizing shipments in the near future.
In order to obtain an export permit for duck, Damate specialists carried out extensive preparatory work. The whole procedure took about two years. The competent Hong Kong authority organized a comprehensive audit of the veterinary and food safety systems implemented at Novye Duck Farms in Rostov region (part of Damate Group). The results of the audit confirmed full compliance of the product with national requirements and agreed market admission.

Today, Damate has the opportunity for further expansion of the geography of duck meat and duck by-products exports, not only in terms of volume, but also in terms of nomenclature. During the business mission of Russian agricultural producers to Hong Kong, organized in 2023 by the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, Hong Kong importers were interested in the company's products. Consumers in Hong Kong are attracted not only by products traditionally popular in the Chinese region, but also by parts of the duck accepted in other culinary traditions.
Today, Damate's Rostov facility is fully compliant with international quality and safety standards. This helped the company to successfully pass certification and confirm compliance with the strict requirements of the PR China. We would like to remind you that in October 2023, the Damate duck production complex in Rostov was the first in the country to receive permission to export to China, and in January this year the company has already started shipping its products.
It should be reminded that Damate launched its export business in 2015. As of today, Damate enterprises have permits to supply products to the Eurasian Economic Union and 33 other countries around the world.
