Damate’s new further processing plant produced 3 thousand tons of turkey in 2021

In 2021, the main volume of production – 78% is sausages and bologna-type sausages. A sausage department is capable of producing 128 tons per day. Bologna-type turkey sausages are high in protein and low in fat.

Whole muscle turkey ham is also very popular with consumers, almost 600 tons of these products were sent to customers last year. Hams are produced in a ham and sous vide department with a capacity of 87 tons per day. There are the first in Russia ham roasting line followed with slicing, a unique robotic ham cooking and cooling line, automated ham production and slicing lines are installed here.

The turkey further processing plant with a capacity of 303 tons per day is located in Penza region. There are advanced processing solutions, automated production lines, and more than 500 pieces of equipment from leading world manufacturers are installed at the plant.

The plant includes 5 departments: for production of ham and sous vide products, for bologna-type sausages, for dry cured sausage products, for semi-finished products and one of the main advantages of the plant is a fully robotized cold storage.

The company produces ham, dry cured and bogna-type sausages, sous vide products, sausage products as well as ready-to-eat semi-finished positions. The products meet the requirements of Halal.

It should be noted that since last year, further processing products have been exported. In 2021, more than 300 tons were shipped to 15 countries, including countries of Africa and neighboring countries. The company plans to expand the range of supplies and the geography of sales at the expense of the ASEAN countries and the Middle East.
