Damate starts cooperation with Kuwait Food Company
Damate Group, one of the largest turkey meat producer in Russia, has started cooperation with Kuwait Food Company (Americana), a leading food service operator in the Middle East. The first batch of turkey products with a volume of 27 tons has already arrived at the buyer's warehouse and will soon be sent to the production sites of the Americana Group in Kuwait. Further deliveries will be carried out in accordance with the current contract and schedule.
The main activities of Americana Group are the production and sale of products, as well as the supply of beverages for the HoReCa sector.
The group's network includes more than 1,200 retail outlets. Among them are ten brands in the categories of fast food, casual and gourmet cuisine, including KFC, Pizza Hut, Hardee's, T.G.I. Friday's, Costa Coffee, Baskin Robbins, Krispy Kreme, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, LongHorn Steakhouse, as well as several other home and regional brands such as Chicken Tikka and Signor Sassi.
It should be noted that the Halal management system implemented at Damate enterprises has been recognized by specialists of national and foreign Halal certification bodies, which contributes to the development of exports of turkey products to Muslim countries.
In the near future, Damate and Americana Group plan to start deliveries to Saudi Arabia. This was made possible thanks to the opening of Europe's largest turkey deep processing plant Damate with a capacity of 303 tons per day. It already produces over 100 items of 100% turkey meat: cured sausages, ham, boiled sausages, sausage products, as well as ready-to-eat semi-finished products.
Damate started shipping turkey meat for export in the fall of 2015. To date, Damate enterprises have permits to supply products to more than 60 countries. These are countries of the European Union, the Eurasian Economic Union and 33 other countries of the world, including China, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Africa and Asia.
The export turnover of Damate for 7 months of 2021 exceeded 1 billion rubles. The positive dynamics is due to the systematic work of the company on the development of the export direction, the expansion of the geography of supplies and the development of the range of branded products supplied abroad.
