Damate helped the Foundation "Soul of a Tramp" with 30 tons of products for 6 months of 2022
For 3 years of cooperation, Damate Group has supplied 135 tons of turkey meat offal, which do not belong to the main consumer assortment, to the Homeless Dog Relief Foundation "Soul of a Tramp". Of this volume, about 30 tons of products were delivered to the dog shelter within 6 months of 2022. The company continues to cooperate and provide assistance to pets until the end of this year.
Since 2020, Damate has been providing food charity assistance to the foundation's animals. Damate not only helps the institution with products, but also provides information support. The company holds special promotions to attract attention to the work of the institution and helps pets with the search for new owners. Thanks to this, several dogs have already found a new home.
It is important that the company's employees also joined Damate cooperation initiative with the foundation. So, in the spring, volunteers made a trip to the shelter, where they spent the whole day providing the necessary assistance in dog walking and feeding.
"Soul of a Tramp" is one of the largest private shelters for stray dogs in Russia, created in 2015 by volunteers of the Kaluga region. Today there are more than 1,600 stray animals found on the streets of the city, abandoned and injured by human hands. They especially need warmth, care and support. The specialists of the shelter are always happy to welcome guests who are ready to devote their time to animals, talk and walk with dogs who live in special enclosures and lack attention and affection.
Today, the shelter exists solely at the expense of donations and funds from the organizers and needs constant support. In total, the foundation's participants have already rescued more than 2,000 dogs from all over Russia. More than 500 animals have already found a home and loving owners.
