Damate increased export turnover by 60% in 2022
In the 12 months of 2022, the export turnover of Damate Group exceeded 3.7 billion rubles, which is 60% more than a year earlier. The positive dynamics of export indicators is the result of active work on the development of the export direction.
Last year, Damate supplied a wide range of turkey and duck products to countries in Africa, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe and CIS countries.
More than half of the total exports were to the African continent: Congo, Angola, Benin, Gabon, etc. Traditionally, large volumes of products were shipped to China, the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The top 10 importers also included CIS countries.
The range of products supplied abroad includes anatomical parts of turkey and duck, natural semi-finished products from turkey, as well as turkey processed products.
In 2023, Damate will continue developing the export direction by strengthening export positions and developing the geography of sales.
Damate opened an export direction in 2015. The company exported a range of turkey meat products, and in 2021 began shipping high-margin turkey sausage products, as well as duck meat products. The Salima brand was created specifically for export purposes. To date, Damate enterprises have permits to supply products to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union and to 33 other countries of the world.
