The dairy complex Damate in Tyumen region produced more than 53 thousand tons of raw milk of the highest grade at the end of 2020. For 12 months, the gross milk production at one of the most modern complexes in Russia exceeded the indicators of the same period in 2019 by 15%.

The number of livestock for the year increased by 1.7 thousand heads - up to 11, 7 thousand heads, of which 5.4 thousand are cows. The daily milk production is more than 30 kg per dairy cow.

The positive dynamics of growth is due to the commissioning of the third stage of the complex in summer last year, which provides for an increase in the dairy herd up to 6 thousand cows and 11.5 thousand cattle stalls, due to which the planned capacity of the farm increased up to 55 thousand tons of milk per year or 150 tons per day.

The country's first genetic project, implemented at the enterprise, played an important role in increasing the indicators. Over the past year, the specialists of the complex systematically introduced animals into the herd on the basis of genomic typing, which makes it possible to reveal the hidden genetic potential of cows immediately after birth.

The systematic work on the introduction of innovative technologies in milk production processes also had a positive impact. Among the most significant decisions are the introduction of artificial intelligence into the calving process and the launch of remote monitoring of the herd.

"Animal welfare is the foundation of the biological business, a guarantee of high production results and financial performance of Damate. Our project in Tyumen is an example of just such an approach to the production of raw milk", - said Rashid Khairov, General Director of Damate, - Innovative solutions and technologies applied at the complex allow us to demonstrate positive growth dynamics year by year."

It should be reminded, that Damate opened the largest dairy complex in Siberia in 2017, and in 2020 the construction of the third stage was completed. The farm is located in the Golyshmanovsky district of Tyumen region, its capacity allows keeping 6 thousand cows and 11.5 thousand cattle. In accordance with the agreement signed earlier, Danone buys out the entire volume of milk produced at the complex.
