Damate presented halal-certified products at Gulfood-2022
Damate Group took part in Gulfood-2022, one of the world's largest exhibitions of food, beverages and the HoReCa industry. The event was held at the Dubai World Trade Center from February 13 to 17.
At its own stand, Damate presented halal turkey meat products under the export brand Salima and a wide range of Ozerka branded duck products. For the first time, turkey further processing products were presented at Gulfood: guests of the exhibition could taste ham and sausage products made from 100% turkey meat, as well as ready-to-eat semi-finished products: meat balls, chopsticks and burger patties.
During the exhibition, Damate’s exposition was visited by the Minister of Agriculture of Russia Dmitry Patrushev. He got acquainted with the product range, representatives of the company told about the results of the work in 2021, and plans for the development of the export direction.
Damate has been actively developing its export business since 2015. In 2021, the company's export turnover exceeded 2 billion rubles, and the volume of supplies of turkey and duck products has increased more than 10 times since 2019 and amounted to over 14 thousand tons.
Participation in Gulfood provides great opportunities for cooperation: from expanding the pool of customers to entering new international markets. The exhibition is a point of attraction for experts and representatives of the business community of the global food industry.
Gulfood has been held annually since 1987. It is the largest and most influential specialized exhibition in the field of food, beverages, equipment for hotel and restaurant services. The event is particularly popular with visitors from the Persian Gulf and the Middle East, since more than 95% of food is imported here. The Russian exposition at Gulfood-2022 was presented by over 60 domestic producers of grain, meat, dairy, confectionery products and soft drinks.
Every year more than 5 thousand companies from 120 countries take part in Gulfood, and more than 100 thousand people from 200 countries of the world attend the events. The total area of expositions in 2022 was more than 127,000 sq. m.
