Export sales of Damate exceeded 1 billion rubles
The export volume of Damate has exceeded 1 billion rubles since the beginning of this year. The positive dynamics is due to the expansion of the supplies geography and the development of the range of supplied products.
The export sales of Damate Group has exceeded 1 billion rubles in 7 months of 2021. This is the result of the company's systematic work to develop the export direction. In January-July 2021, the company already exported 1.5 times more products in terms of volume and value compared 2020.
The number of permanent importing countries has grown this year from 8 to 22 and continues to grow. The largest volumes of turkey products were sent to China, Benin, and the United Arab Emirates. The geography of Damate supplies is constantly expanding thanks to the opening of new promising directions, including the countries of the Caribbean, West Africa, the Persian Gulf, as well as the intensification of cooperation with neighboring countries.
The range of export products Damate includes anatomical parts and semi-finished products from turkey meat. The growth of trade turnover was also facilitated by the start of export of products with high added value. This became possible thanks to the opening of Europe's largest turkey processing plant with a capacity of 303 tons per day. More than 100 items of 100% turkey meat are produced here: dry-cured sausages, hams, boiled sausages, sausages, as well as ready-to-eat semi-finished products.
It should also be noted that the Halal management system implemented at Damate enterprises was recognized by specialists from national and foreign certification bodies “Halal”, which allows exporting turkey products to Muslim countries.
In the near future Damate plans to strengthen its export positions in the Middle East, increase the supply of deep processed products, as well as start exporting mutton and duck.
Damate has begun shipping turkey meat for export in the fall of 2015. Today the enterprises of Damate have permission to supply products to more than 60 countries. These are the states of the European Union, the Eurasian Economic Union and 33 other countries of the world, including China, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, countries of Africa and Asia.
