Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Damate Group Naum Babayev was awarded the second class medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland for achievements in the field of agriculture and many years of conscientious work. The decree on the state award was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 11, 2023. The Head of Federation also expressed gratitude to the entire team of the Damate Group for their services in the development of the agro-industrial complex and the labor successes achieved.
The award ceremony took place on June 2 as part of the annual final board of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. The awards were presented by the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev.
The Medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland is awarded for outstanding achievements and results in professional social, cultural, scientific, economic activities and is the highest form of encouragement of citizens for special achievements before the population of Russia.

Here, in the winter of 2022, the country's largest breeding turkey reproducer of the second order was commissioned. The launch of the facility will reduce dependence on the import of turkey genetic material and will improve the quality indicators of the turkey's incubation egg.
Damate includes the largest milk processor in Penza region, the Penza Dairy Plant, which provides products not only to the region, but also to other regions.
It should be noted that in 2020 Damate was included in the official list of backbone companies of the Russian Federation. The daily work of the group's enterprises and the production of high-quality meat and dairy products ensure the country's food security.
