Damate Group, the largest turkey producer in Russia, increased turkey production by 33% up to 200 thousand tons in 2021. The positive dynamics of production volume growth was due to the systematic implementation of the company's turkey-breeding projects in Penza and Rostov regions.
Damate Group increased duck production from 300 up to 11.5 thousand tons in 2021 and fully restored the operation of the complex in Rostov region.
The number of employees of Damate exceeded 10 thousand people. In 2021, almost 2,000 new jobs were created in five regions of the company's presence.
The export turnover of Damate exceeded 2 billion rubles in 2021. The volume of supplies of turkey and duck products has increased more than 10 times in two years, up to 14 thousand tons.
The duck brand Ozerka was recognized as the most popular product of the year according to consumers and received the All-Russian award Product of the Year. The award confirms the high quality of products and the trust of customers.
Damate Group continues the gradual restoration and development of turkey and duck production projects in Rostov region. The First Deputy Governor of Rostov region Viktor Goncharov personally took part in the ceremony of first shipment of halal meat products abroad on November 23, 2021. The event was also attended by General Director of Damate Group Naum Babayev, General Director of the International Center for Standardization and Certification "Halal" at the Council of Muftis of Russia Aidar Gazizov.
Damate began exporting turkey products to East African countries. The first country to receive 27 tons of turkey meat was Mozambique.
